Peter Johannes Schjødt

Peter Johannes Schjødt. Født i København i 1957.
Studerede statsvidenskab og filosofi ved Københavns Universitet.
Undervist i videnskabsfilosofi ved Institut for Statskundskab og senere har senere undervist på Vallekilde Højskole i filosofi, idéhistorie, psykologi, kunsthistorie og samfundsfag.
Fra 1993 til 1995 medlem af den danske regerings Velfærdskommission.
Fra 1997 til 1998 ansat i DR. Fra 1998 chef for Radiodokumentaren og fra 1999 til 2001 chefredaktør for P1.
Har været en meget anvendt kommentator i danske nyhedsmedier og boganmelder af filosofisk og politisk litteratur.
Forfatter og medforfatter til mere end 10 bøger.
I dag er Peter Johannes Schjødt freelance skribent, blogger og foredragsholder og bor på landet sammen med sin familie.

Studied Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen.
Taught philosophy of science at the Department of Political Science and later teaching at Danish folk high schools in philosophy, history of ideas, psychology, art history and social studies.
From 1993 to 1995 member of the Danish Government’s Welfare Commission.
From 1997 to 1998 employed at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). In 1998 he was head of investigative journalism at DR’s talk radio, and from 1999 to 2001 editor – in – chief.
Has been a widely used commentator in Danish news media and book reviewer of philosophical and political literature.
Author and co-author of more than 10 books.
Today, Peter Johannes Schjødt is a freelance writer and lives in the countryside with his family.
